Child Health Program
The Loudoun County Health Department provides preventive pediatric services, including physical exams, health screening tests, immunizations, referrals to children's specialty programs, teaching of healthful practices and counseling.

Family Access to Medical Insurance Security (FAMIS)
Family Access to Medical Insurance Security (FAMIS) provides health coverage for children through the age of 18 who currently do not have any health insurance coverage. The plan is paid for by the state and federal government and is designed to cover children of working Virginia families whose income is too high to qualify for medical assistance under Medicaid, and too low to afford private health insurance. Applications are available at the Loudoun County Department of Family Services.

The Health Department provides immunizations to help protect the public from vaccine-preventable diseases.
