Adult Services

The Loudoun County Department of Family Services conducts Medicaid Nursing Home, Personal Care Waiver, and Adult Care Residence pre-admission screenings and helps plan for the most appropriate living environment. The department also provides Community Home-Based Care Services (Companion Services and Case Aide Services) and offers counseling and advocacy for aged and disabled adults and their families to deal with issues related to protective services and care planning. The Case Aide assists in such areas as budgeting and bill paying, medical follow-up, and shopping.

Visiting Nurses Association of Northern Virginia

The Visiting Nurses Association provides intermittent home health services, including nursing, and physical, occupational and speech therapy. Speciality programs include living with AIDS or cancer, hospice services, psychiatric/mental health nursing, maternal-child home care and chronic care.
