The Loudoun County Youth Shelter provides community-based, short-term residential services for young people, ages 12-17, who cannot live at home. Youth must be referred by the Department of Family Services; Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation & Substance Abuse Services; Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court; or Court Services Unit.
