More information about each of the upcoming elections will be posted closer to the date of each election. Important dates to keep in mind are:
May 4, 2010: Town Election
- Monday, April 12, 2010, 5:00 p.m., is the last day to register to vote.
- Tuesday, April 27, 2010, is the last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed.
- Saturday, May 1, 2010, 5:00 p.m., is the last day to vote an absentee ballot in person.
June 8, 2010: Primary Election, if held
- Monday, May 17, 2010, 5:00 p.m., is the last day to register to vote.
- Tuesday, June 1, 2010, is the last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed.
- Saturday, June 5, 2010, 5:00 p.m., is the last day to vote an absentee ballot in person.
November 2, 2010: General Election
- Tuesday, October 12, 2010, 5:00 p.m., is the last day to register to vote.
- Tuesday, October 27, 2010, is the last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed.
- Saturday, October 30, 2010, 5:00 p.m., is the last day to vote an absentee ballot in person.

Voters Guide to Election Equipment
Our primary voting equipment is the Premier Election Solutions Optical Scanner, which uses a marked paper ballot read by a light reader. One optical scanner is placed in every polling place. Our Help America Vote Act (HAVA)-mandated voting equipment is the Premier Election Solutions Touchscreen (TSX). One TSX also is placed in every polling place. HAVA mandates that every polling place have an Americans with Disabilities (ADA)- compliant piece of voting equipment in every polling place.
