Residential Care Adult Services The Loudoun County Department of Family Services provides pre-admission screenings for nursing home and adult care residence placements, and in-home Medicaid personal care services, home-based care services (Companion and Homemaker Services), case management, counseling, advocacy, and information and referral services. The hospice provides medical care by a team of doctors, nurses, chaplains, social workers, home health aides and volunteers, in the patient's home, nursing home or assisted living facility. Grief counseling is offered to the family. Capital Hospice operates an inpatient facility in Arlington. The hospice also contracts beds for acute care at Loudoun Hospital Center.
