The Youth Services Division of the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services offers an array of programs and services to youth, children, and families.
Services include childcare for preschoolers, ages 2½-5 years.
The elementary school-age programs, County After School Activities (CASA), Before School, After-K, and Holiday Programs, offer activities for Loudoun County students in grades K-5.
The middle school-age programs, Youth After School (YAS), Youth Instructional Sessions (YIS), Parent Programs, Intramurals, and Special Events, offer activities for Loudoun County students in grades 6-8.
The Youth Development office provides delinquency prevention and youth development services to Loudoun youth and their families.
The document, "A Plan for Youth," illustrates the needs of youth throughout Loudoun as identified through the Communities That Care evaluation model. More information about "A Plan for Youth" is available upon request from the Youth Development office.
The Work Ordered Repayment by Kids (WORK) Program provides an opportunity to complete court-ordered community service hours. |
